Use Parts to Fix Things
Sometimes you need hardware to fix a problem. HelpDesk calls these Parts. You can add as many Parts as you need to a ticket, including parts that will be ordered later...
Order More Parts
Once you've added a part to be ordered later, you need to keep track of it. The "Parts Tracking" page lets you know what parts are on the way, and which have yet to be ordered.
Keep Track of Part Costs
Buying parts adds up, so HelpDesk makes sure to add in parts to any ticket cost report. This way, you never lose money by forgetting about something you had to buy to close the ticket.
Know What Parts You've Bought
The "My Parts" screen shows you all the parts you've bought, and plan on buying. In addition, it tells you which parts have arrived and are waiting to be picked up so you can get back to business fast.
